Ageing the skin

Before starting to work on a specific character(creating it's look), you need to think of several aspects first:
  • What age are the actors in the script?
  • What period of time are they located in the script?
  • What social-economic background are they from?
Products:
  • Foundation
  • White Supracolor(Kryolan)
  • Brown Supracolor(red+yellow+black) (Kryolan)
  • Makee-up brushes
  • Spatula and palette
  • Mascara wands
  • Stipple sponges
How to:
  1. Apply the foundation on the whole surface of the face, including the lips (The foundation must be paler than the natural skin colour)
  2. Blend it well into the skin
  3. Ask the model to wrinkle their face, in order to make noticeable the natural wrinkles
  4. Using a small brush(angled brush)paint into the wrinkles' lines with brown colour
  5. Using the fingers, blend a bit the lines to make them look more natural
  6. With a bigger brush (Foundation brush) you can go around the eyes, under the cheek bones, under the chin and on the nose sides, as doing the contouring. It will make the look to be more intense.
  7. With a stipple sponge and red Supracolor, tap onto the nose and cheek bones, to create a kind of skind detereoration
  8. Ushing a mascara wand and white supracolor, go through the eyebrows
